Murph Week

I remember our first Murph at FCF *pictured above* It was 6 months in and vibes were HIGH. FCF felt grass roots, a small group of dedicated and determined people all going above and beyond.

5 iterations later, it still feels the same. Only now things run a little more smoothly and we've opened up how we serve groups of dedicated and determined people. Which is why this coming Monday is the Murph I am most excited about in the history of FCF.

For the first time, we're bringing everyone together: CrossFit classes, small group, Legends, and Personal Training clients all working out in the same room, doing the same workout, at the same time.
One community.
One workout.
One purpose.

That's what I'm most excited about this year. Not the workout itself (though it's a good one). The fact that we've built something diverse enough that we can all show up together and honor the same thing in our own way.

Murph - Monday, May 25th at 8:00 AM

For time:

This is a Hero workout honoring Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2005. The prescribed version includes a 20lb vest for men, 14lb for women, but the workout was never meant to exclude people. It was meant to bring people together.

You do not need to finish Rx'd. You do not need to go unpartitioned. You do not need to chase someone else's pace. You just need to approach it with intention.

Scale the volume. Modify movements. Partner with a friend. Remove the vest. Whatever version of Murph you complete is the right one - because the point isn't your time. The point is showing up with your community and taking part in something bigger than yourself.

Members and non-members welcome. One heat. 8:00 AM.
